this season.
David also picked up 5 bonus points for leading laps 134,135, and 136.
With his strong finish at Radford he moves from 17th to 11th in the Championship
Standings and sits only 11 points away from breaking into the Top 10.
We
are now down to the final race scheduled for Nov. 27 at USA International

Myrtle Beach Speedway
October 23, 2004
The stars did not line up for David L. Pletcher and his RaceFansDating.com Team
and after a hectic day at the race track David was able to finish 14th in the
Mark Brooks Memorial Bi-Lo 250 presented by Black's Tire Service.
The team's day consisted of replacing their motor, taking a provisional
starting position of 38th, being penalized a
green flag stop-and-go, which was later reversed due to a post race review
by race officials, and topping off the race with a flat tire late in
the race.
David still drove like a man on a mission and with his 14th finishing
position he took away honors of winning the Hard Charger Award for advancing
the most positions, this was his 6th Hard Charger Award for the 2004
season.
With 2 races remaining David and the MulbireMotorsports Team
sit in 17th position in the Championship Standings and are only 38 points
out from cracking the top 10.
Thanks to Lee Murray of Murray's Marina-Key West Fl. for making the
trip to the race and spending the day at the race track with the team.
And a Special Thanks to Mike Laughlin Sr.and Mike Laughlin Jr. for loaning
us their backup motor so that we could make the race, we owe you one

Mansfield Motorsports Park
October 9, 2004
It was round two of the five-race Championship Series and David L.
Pletcher and his RaceFansDating.com team
were looking for another strong finish in the Alan Kulwicki Memorial
In-N-Out Mart 250 presented by Mountain Dew at the Mansfield Motorsports
Park.
Saturday's 2 hour practice session gave David an opportunity to make
laps on a track that he had not been to and he quickly adapted to this
1/2 mile oval. "It reminds me of the Orlando Speedworld Track" said
Pletcher as he began determining what wat best line to drive around this
new track.
David and his Ford Taurus qualified 28th in the 37 car field and looked
forward to improving his position in the race.
Once the green flag dropped it did not take long for David to find his
groove and start moving up through the pack. By Lap 23 he had cracked
the top twenty and by lap 65 was in 14th place anf was running same lap
times as the leader. David and his #51 had made his way to the 10th position
when there was a caution at Lap 110. David, along with the leaders, went
to pit lane for tires and gas. As the team was pulling off another good
pit stop the rear tire changer/Crew Chief, Jeremy Bowser, discovered
that the axle tube cover had worked it way loose and the rear axle was
coming out. Needless to say the time it took to make the repair caused
David to go down several laps as the race went back to green flag racing.
David would finish the race 23rd which droped him to 16th place in the
Championship Points race. The good news he is only 50 points out of 7th
and looks forward to making his way to the top 10 as the Mulbire Motorsports
Team heads to Myrtle Beach for round 3 on Saturday, October 23.
A special Thanks to the Management Team of Mansfield
Motorsports Speedway for their hospitality as they hosted a Cook-Out
for all the race teams Friday night before Saturday night race.
Jennerstown Speedway
September 25, 2004
David Pletcher and the Mulbire Motorsports/RaceFansDating.com started
Saturday Mornings practice session of the Charlie Campbell Memorial BFGoodrich
Tires 250 with a mechanical failure after only 3 laps of practice.

Without a back up car the team turned to Randy Humphey for some help.
Humphrey pulled out his backup car and David and his crew prep the car
and David was able to make the last half hour of the 2 hour pracetice
session.
David was able to keep his nose clean and at the end of the race he brought
home a 12th place finish and not even a scratch on the borrowed car.
With this finish David sits currently 13th in the Championship standings
and is only 109 points out of first place. Our next race will be October
9th at the Mansfield Motorsports Speedway.
Due to the weather from the Hurricane the team could not fly back from
the Jennerstown race until Monday afternoon so they took time out to pay
their respects at the Flight 93 9/11 crash site which is not to far from
the track.

The first visit for the USAR Hooteers Procup Series and it's race teams
to the fastest half mile track was a huge success in front of 60,000 plus
race fans but the cards did not favor the #51 Team.
David Pletcher and his RaceFansDating.com Ford
Taurus looked to countinue his string of top 5 finishes and took advantage
of the 2 hour practice session with finding the best set up for a good
qualifing effort and having the same set up carry over for the race.
Qualifing for the Food City 150 kicked off at 1:30 with David going
out early in the session and turned a lap of 16:516 which would put him
in the 36 car field with a 22nd starting position.
Once the race got underway David began making his way to the leaders
and had broken into the top 10 when on lap 33 a lapped car ended David's
night by crashing both of them coming out of turn 4. David drove his
car back to the infield but the damage sustained was unrepairable and
the highly anticipated race came to an end.
Even though he finished in 30th place it did not impact his current
9th place position in the points and the Mulbire Motorsports Team will
head to Jennerstown, PA for the next race on September 25th.
A special thanks to Ollie Volpe of the Mr. Gasket Company for their
sponsorship of the Accell In-Car Camera for David and the #51 Team which
